The Advanced Sensor Programs (ASP) organization is looking for a Program Manager for the Advanced Airborne System under the Sustainment Team to manage Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Notice of Escapes (NOEs), and process improvement efforts.

 

**This is an onsite position at our Plane, TX facility

**Relocation assistance is not available currently

**Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance (Top Secret) is required prior to start

 

Will You Will Do:

  • Work with cross-functional teams in engineering and fleet readiness to make sustainment inputs to production and development ECPs and NOEs, as well as ECPs and NOEs generated by sustainment efforts
  • Work with proposal team to ensure ECPs with sustainment costs are covered
  • Work with production and development ECP teams to ensure the sustainment team tasks are in the overarching ECP integrated master schedule (IMS), and ensure the sustainment team is aware of our upcoming tasks
  • Work with the product support logistics team on establishing plans for fielded hardware impacted by ECPs and NOEs, ie rotating equipment back to the depot or rework in the field
  • Cost Account Manager for Engineering and ECP/NOE/Process Improvement accounts
  • Present ECP and NOE updates to the customer
  • Brief Field Service Representative (FSR) Teams on ECPs and NOEs
  • Manage major process improvement efforts
  • Identify risk and opportunities
  • Minimal travel required (ex: Quarterly to customer reviews and supplier visits)

  • SBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and deliverables

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Prior IMS and EVMS implementation and execution experience, to include meeting EAC requirements
  • Prior experience with product life and field logistics, hardware fielding and/or maintenance
  • Prior experience in program/project management
  • Prior experience working and supporting customers (internal and external)
  • Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
