About the role
At AGL, we're transforming the way Australians generate, store and use energy. As a Risk & Compliance Officer based at Bayswater Power Station, you'll play a key role in supporting the governance, compliance and risk
management frameworks that help our operations run safely, effectively and in line with regulatory obligations.
Working closely with the Compliance, Assurance & Risk team and operational stakeholders, you'll help drive a strong risk and compliance culture while supporting critical assurance, audit and regulatory programs across AGL Macquarie.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support risk, compliance, audit and assurance programs.
- Maintain risk and compliance registers and track actions through to completion.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and assist with regulatory reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and manage emerging risks.
- Contribute to a strong risk and compliance culture through ongoing governance and improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in risk, compliance, governance, assurance or audit.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to build relationships and work effectively across a range of stakeholders.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a complex operational environment is highly regarded.
- Qualifications in risk, compliance, business, auditing or a related discipline will be advantageous.
