Overview

Join a dynamic team where finance meets operations. As a Manufacturing Accounting Analyst, you'll play a key role in driving business performance by supporting capital budgeting initiatives, analyzing operational profitability, evaluating financial risks, and providing data-driven insights that influence strategic decisions. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across manufacturing, operations, finance, and accounting while contributing to impactful projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Handle the day-to-day operations of the capital budget cycle - publishing monthly updates, processing approved requests, working with division heads on forecasts and projecting year-end figures
  • Assists project managers with larger projects to track their costs and project number management
  • Supports in performing return on investment/cost-benefit analysis for operations, engineering, and continuous improvement
  • Assists with numerous costs & profitability measures and risk assessment
  • Handles the day-to-day requests for information related to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Daily Management Boards (DMBs), Scrap Costing Information, and etc.
  • Assists in preparing monthly cost statements for manufacturing & distribution centers
  • Assists in preparing weekly production metrics
  • Assists in preparing weekly supply chain and inventory control metrics.
  • Assists in supply chain and inventory control improvement projects
  • Assists with cyclical audits of numerous functions, processes, areas, etc.
  • Aids in the research & development tax credit optimization program
  • Assists the finance department to provide documents as requested for tax and financial audits
  • May assist with other finance and cost accounting related projects as instructed.
  • Operates various office equipment - e.g. computer, copier, etc.
  • Other duties as maybe required

 

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

 

  • 1-2 years of financial experience (Preferred, but not required)
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook (Microsoft Office Suite products) and standard office equipment

 

 

Education/Certification

 

Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
