Role Overview

 

The Senior Specialist, Cloud, AI and Full-Stack Technical Lead supports the Portfolio Submission and Planner Management (PSPM) area within the Business Operations.

This hands-on leadership role is responsible for designing, building, modernizing, and operating business-critical solutions that support portfolio, project, resource, and financial management processes. The role combines technical leadership with deep expertise in cloud engineering, full-stack development, AI-enabled applications, data integration, and DevSecOps.

The successful candidate will drive platform modernization, embed AI capabilities into business solutions, accelerate engineering delivery through AI-assisted development practices, and mentor teams in delivering secure, scalable, and resilient products.

 

What would you do:

Cloud & Full-Stack Engineering

• Design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise applications using .NET, Python, APIs, cloud-native services, and modern web technologies.
• Build secure, scalable, and responsive user experiences using Angular and/or React.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions across Azure and AWS.
• Develop APIs, integrations, workflows, and event-driven services supporting PSPM capabilities.
• Lead modernization initiatives to improve scalability, reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
• Own end-to-end solution delivery from architecture through production support.

AI Solutions & Engineering Innovation

• Design and implement AI-powered capabilities using Generative AI, AI Agents, RAG, intelligent automation, and enterprise AI services.
• Identify opportunities to embed AI into products, workflows, reporting, and decision-support processes to improve business outcomes.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate software development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Establish responsible AI practices covering security, governance, compliance, transparency, and observability.
• Drive innovation through evaluation and adoption of emerging AI technologies and engineering practices.
• Mentor and coach engineers on AI solution development and modern engineering approaches.

Data, Integration & Analytics

• Design and implement data integration, transformation, automation, and reporting solutions.
• Develop scalable integration patterns using APIs, messaging platforms, and cloud services.
• Ensure data quality, security, performance, observability, and operational reliability.
• Enable analytics and data-driven decision-making across PSPM platforms.

DevSecOps & Cloud Operations

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment automation, and security controls.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or equivalent technologies.
• Establish monitoring, telemetry, observability, dashboards, and alerting.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues across application, cloud, infrastructure, and data layers.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, SDLC, and operational readiness standards.

Technical Leadership

• Serve as the technical lead for engineering teams and strategic initiatives.
• Provide architecture guidance, design reviews, code reviews, and technical mentorship.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, roadmaps, and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver business value.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures, AI-driven solutions, automation, and engineering best practices.
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.

 

What you Should Have:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience & Technical Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with increasing responsibilities in technical leadership and solution delivery.
• Strong expertise in C#/.NET, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Python for application development, automation, integrations, data processing, and AI solutions.
• Experience designing, building, and operating cloud-native solutions on Azure and/or AWS.
• Proficiency in Angular or React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
• Experience with enterprise integrations, data platforms, APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, or integrating AI-enabled solutions, including Generative AI, AI Agents, RAG-based applications, intelligent automation, or conversational AI.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve software delivery, quality, testing, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and cloud operations.
• Experience leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, and driving technical decision-making.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) platforms such as Microsoft Project Online, Project Server Subscription Edition, Planner Premium, Planisware, ServiceNow PPM, or similar solutions.
• Experience leading cloud modernization, platform migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience implementing Generative AI, AI Agents, intelligent automation, enterprise copilots, or AI-driven business solutions.
• Knowledge of portfolio management, resource management, project governance, financial planning, and reporting processes.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP, SOX, or similar).
• Azure, AWS, AI, or related technical certifications.
