Job Summary

 

Reporting to the Regional Airport Operations & Contract Manager easyJet, the Airport Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising the safe, compliant, and on-time delivery of easyJet operations at Marrakech and designated Moroccan airports.

Acting as the operational representative of easyJet on the ground during assigned duty periods, the Supervisor monitors daily operations, coordinates ground handling activities, ensures compliance with easyJet standards and local regulatory requirements, and supports the effective management of operational disruptions. The role also contributes to improving operational performance, customer experience, and safety standards through regular monitoring, reporting, and coordination with ground handling providers and airport stakeholders.

The successful candidates will initially be employed and seconded through Swissport for an evaluation period of up to three months. Subject to satisfactory performance and business requirements, they may subsequently be offered direct employment with easyJet.

 

Your activities

 

• Key Accountabilities

  • Supervise daily airport operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery in line with easyJet standards and local regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor ground handling activities and ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety requirements, security standards, and customer service expectations.

  • Conduct regular operational checks and Standards Assurance activities to identify non-compliance and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Monitor flight handling activities, turnaround processes, and operational milestones to support On-Time Performance (OTP) and minimise delays.

  • Coordinate with ground handling teams and relevant airport stakeholders to manage operational disruptions and support effective recovery actions.

  • Identify and report safety events, incidents, operational irregularities, and compliance issues, ensuring timely escalation to the relevant management teams.

  • Support safety and operational investigations by gathering relevant information, documenting findings, and following up on corrective actions.

  • Monitor supplier performance against easyJet procedures, service standards, and operational KPIs, escalating recurring performance issues where necessary.

  • Ensure a consistent customer experience by monitoring service delivery, identifying operational gaps, and coordinating corrective actions with service providers.

  • Identify potential operational and safety risks and promptly escalate concerns to the appropriate management representatives.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with ground handling teams, airport authorities, and other operational stakeholders.

  • Support the implementation of operational procedures, audits, projects, and airport readiness activities.

  • Participate in operational briefings, safety meetings, and stakeholder coordination meetings as required.

  • Prepare operational reports, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates on performance, incidents, and areas requiring improvement.

  • Promote a strong safety and compliance culture through frontline engagement, guidance, and regular communication with operational teams.

  Key Skills & Experience

  Essential

  • Experience in airline, airport, ground handling, or transportation operations.

  • Good understanding of airport operations, aircraft turnaround processes, and operational safety requirements.

  • Strong coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with operational teams and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to monitor operational performance, identify issues, and escalate concerns appropriately.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and irregular operations.

  Location & Working Pattern

  Based in Marrakech under a Moroccan contract structure.

  The Supervisors will operate on a rostered basis to ensure operational coverage across the airport operating day, including weekends, public holidays, and periods of operational disruption.

  Recruitment Approach

  Candidates will initially be employed and seconded through Swissport for an assessment period of up to three months. Subject to satisfactory performance and business requirements, successful candidates may subsequently transition to direct employment with easyJet.
