Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Valencia HR Manager by managing and streamlining a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This position will support the execution of Human Resources processes such as onboarding, employee records management, direct labor recruitment, and other tasks as needed.
The Human Resources Coordinator will also be a liaison between employees and leadership, facilitating clear communication and fostering a positive workplace environment. Ultimately, this role supports the HR Business Partner in delivering exceptional service to employees.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager and Site Leadership including handling employees and leadership team inquiries, entering and processing data, preparing reports, etc.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and contingent workers by preparing documentation, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth integration into the company
- Maintain and update employee records in Workday with accuracy and confidentiality
- Supports site activities and HR initiatives as needed
Position Requirements
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- 2-3 yrs of experience in an administrative or coordination role. Previous experience supporting human resources preferred
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS system experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication skills and customer service experience
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Understanding Human Resources practices, labor laws, and employee relations, preferred.
