  • Review and professionally endorse surveys, plats, exhibits, legal descriptions, and other documents requiring a Professional Land Surveyor’s signature and seal.
  • Perform field reconnaissance and in-house survey work as needed.
  • Provide technical oversight of conventional, GNSS, robotic total station, UAV, LiDAR, mobile mapping, and other data-collection methods.
  • Coordinate survey and ROW activities with engineering, permitting, land acquisition, utility coordination, and construction management teams.
  • Manage survey subcontractors, including scope development, scheduling, coordination, quality review, and deliverable acceptance.
  • Track assignments, prioritize work, and maintain effective project and department workflow.
  • Evaluate deliverables for completeness, constructability, accuracy, and compatibility with engineering requirements.
  • Mentor and train survey staff, field crews, ROW researchers, GIS personnel, and other technical team members.
  • Assist with recruiting, staffing, resource planning, workload forecasting, and performance management.
  • Evaluate and implement technologies such as GIS automation, AI-assisted ROW research, LiDAR, UAV mapping, mobile mapping, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Support business development through proposal preparation, scope development, budgeting, client coordination, and expansion of surveying and ROW services.

Qualification:
