Highlights of your role

• Systems Development: Establish and manage the Engineering Change Management process.  This includes process development, product component data standardization, and corresponding CAD and data standards.  Establish system technology roadmaps for the implementation of future system improvement opportunities (ex: Product Lifecycle Management, Parametric Models)
• Management: Oversee Engineering Systems team members, participate in budget and capacity planning.   Transmit knowledge, develop culture, and provide support relevant to work, career, or professional development.  Provide leadership to teams to meet project scope and design requirements. Effectively identify and mitigate project risks. 
• Technical Support: Support department R&D data management systems through an understanding and sharing of best practices for AutoDesk Vault and Microsoft D365
• Technology Analysis: Keep abreast of new technologies and processes being developed in support of Engineer System. 
• Business Processes: Partner with leadership to establish the future Engineering Systems Operating Structure to effectively run the business once a new ERP system is implemented.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a related field is required; Master’s degree (M.S. or M.B.A) or advanced degree is preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
• Knowledge and experience in design system processes required
• 8+ years of engineering and/or lead experience required
• Must have a technical background and knowledge of engineering theories and practices, and business systems and processes
• Must be willing and able to participate and contribute in a team environment, possess self-motivation skills, and be dependable and trustworthy
• Must possess skills to problem solve, train, direct, and communicate effectively with team members, as well as having proficient organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking abilities
