The Views of Marion is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Full-Time Laundry Aide to join our senior living community. Our laundry team plays an important role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for our residents.

Position: Full-Time Laundry Aide

Schedule: Full-Time
Location: The Views of Marion
Department: Environmental Services

Position Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility laundry.
• Properly handle and label resident clothing and personal items.
• Maintain an organized and clean laundry area.
• Follow proper laundry procedures and infection control practices.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Monitor laundry supplies and notify the appropriate supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the laundry area.
• Ensure resident clothing and linens are returned to the appropriate resident or location.
• Handle residents' personal belongings with care, respect, and confidentiality.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments.
• Provide friendly and respectful interactions with residents, families, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Be willing to learn and follow proper infection control and safety procedures.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, or senior living experience is preferred but not required.
