Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Gated Residential Community Access Control in Anaheim, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Report observations, incidents, and maintenance or access-control concerns promptly through required communication channels and complete detailed documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
