Overview
Job Location: 7000 Goodlett Farms Parkway, Cordova, TN 38016
Responsibilities
Duties: Lead the design and delivery of scalable, efficient, and forward-thinking technology solutions for global logistics operations. Oversee solution architecture development, project delivery support, technical governance, and alignment with corporate application architecture strategy. Translate complex business needs into effective, scalable technical architecture designs aligned with logistics operations and enterprise standards. Create and maintain architectural roadmaps and engineering standards to ensure consistency, reliability, and quality across all technical initiatives. Provide technical guidance to development teams, participate in code reviews, and support solution implementation to meet performance and quality benchmarks. Lead architectural reviews and governance processes to ensure adherence to best practices, emerging technologies, and industry standards. Drive cross-functional collaboration to align business needs with strategic technical goals, ensuring solutions support both operational demands and long-term growth. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning to support the organization’s evolution in a fast-paced, multinational environment. Note: Company “Hybrid” work attendance policy: In-office work attendance required at the mentioned office address for at least 8 times a month’s: telecommuting/working from home is permissible for the remainder of the same month.
Travel requirements: Domestic travel (2-3 times a year, less than 10% of job duties)
Qualifications
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field PLUS 10 years of experience in software engineering or related experience.
Skills Required: Experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience working as a Solutions Architect. Experience using API design and integration Patterns. Experience working with software development methodologies and practices. Experience with software development lifecycle in Agile methodologies. Experience developing Asynchronous microservices using Event driven Architecture. Experience developing Resilient Microservices and Micro frontends. Experience with Dev Sec Ops practices. Experience implementing integrations for A2A and B2B. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
