HVAC Technician I

QUALIFICATIONS / OVERVIEW:This HVAC Tech I position performs a variety of basic tasks regarding HVAC repairs and installs. This position requires 2 years’ experience in preferably HVAC maintenance or HVAC Construction.Assists in repairs on HVAC units containing R22 and 410A refrigerant by replacing compressors, reversing valves, expansion valves, motors, modules, float switches, condensate pumps, contractors, defrost boards, control boards, and other components in the system.Completes New HVAC installs in existing finished structures including duct work, heat pump, and electrical required to complete the installation as well as other related duties.                                                                         The JCHA Job Application and position description can be picked up between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. Monday through Thursday and 7:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. Responsibilities:Complete HVAC repairs, maintenance, installations, and other related in-home, service calls for both commercial and residential customers.
