Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to transition into an Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant role within a well-established and supportive team. This position is ideal for candidates with an OT background and approximately 4+ years of clinical experience, who are interested in expanding their career into occupational rehabilitation.

The role focuses on supporting individuals through their recovery and return-to-work journey, using a client-centred approach that prioritises health, wellbeing and sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting individuals to recover from injury and safely return to work
• Managing a varied caseload across schemes such as Workers Compensation, CTP, Comcare, NDIS and WHS
• Conducting workplace, functional, vocational and ergonomic assessments
• Developing return-to-work plans and supporting clients throughout their rehabilitation journey
• Maintaining accurate case notes and reports to meet compliance requirements
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, insurers and healthcare professionals

About You:

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration
• Approximately 4+ years of OT experience
• Interest in transitioning into occupational rehabilitation (experience in this area is highly regarded but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping people improve their quality of life and return to meaningful work
• Full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
