We are supporting a Stavanger based subsea project requiring an experienced Detailed Design Engineer to operate in a client representative / SURF Lead capacity. This is a key position bridging detailed engineering and offshore execution, with immediate project impact.
Tasks:
- Act as SURF Lead interface between engineering and offshore execution teams
- Review and validate detailed design deliverables, ensuring alignment with project and subsea installation requirements
- Provide technical input across pipeline design, tie-in analysis, and installation methodology
- Support pre-commissioning scope including system readiness, documentation, and handover activities
- 7+ years’ experience in subsea or SURF projects, with strong installation background essential
This role suits someone with a solid detailed design background who has moved closer to execution, and is comfortable representing the client across both engineering and installation phases. Subsea installation experience is essential, and knowledge of pipeline design and tie-in analysis will be a clear advantage.
