Title: Data Engineer (Azure / Databricks / Modern SQL)

 

Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Data Engineers with strong expertise in modern SQL, data modeling, and pipeline design. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Databricks, Azure data services, and Python/PySpark, as well as the ability to independently design and implement scalable data pipelines. Strong communication skills in English are essential to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

 

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain robust data models for analytics and reporting.
• Work extensively with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, MS Fabric, and ADLS.
• Implement solutions in Python/PySpark and leverage dbt for transformation workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to modernize data platforms and integrate AI capabilities into pipelines.
• Deliver solutions with minimal supervision, ensuring quality and scalability.

 

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in T‑SQL and modern SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, MS Fabric, ADLS.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark; experience with dbt preferred.
• Solid background in data modeling and pipeline design.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of pipeline implementation.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, for clear communication.
• Understanding of AI’s role in data modernization is a plus.
