What You Will Do

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with experienced health-care professionals to provide care to patients within a robust cardiovascular hospital setting.

 

• No call required
• Practice setting:  Outpatient
• Access to Cath lab | Robotics | Dedicated block time | Support staff
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified APP
• Eligible for state medical license and DEA registration

 

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the inpatient Hospital setting.
• Working as a Consultant and collaborate with CV Surgeons as well as other APPs
• Seeking candidates with (3+ years of) Cardiac and/or CV Experience
• Will work shifts as needed to assist the team
• Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
• Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other health-care providers or community resources.
• Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing require
