Job Advertisement: Head of Partner Engagement
My client is looking for a strategic leader to drive partner engagement across individual donors, corporate partners, and faith communities—focusing on both acquiring new supporters and deepening loyalty with existing ones to maximize long-term commitment to their mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Engagement Strategy
- Develop the overarching strategy to attract, engage, and retain partners across donors, corporations, and churches.
- Identify new ways to deepen relationships with partners to maximize their long-term support.
- Ensure strategies are aligned with the organization's priorities and fundraising goals.
2. Portfolio Leadership
- Lead and support three specific teams: Donor Retention, Corporate Relations, and Faith Partnerships.
- Ensure each team achieves its fundraising and supporter engagement targets.
- Build a positive, motivated, and high-performing team culture.
3. Partnership Growth & Experience
- Strengthen the entire supporter experience—ensuring better engagement, clearer communication, and consistent follow-through at every stage.
- Develop new ideas to increase partner satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy.
- Build strong relationships with key donors, business leaders, and church leaders.
- Represent World Vision Malaysia at external events and networking opportunities.
4. Performance, Insights & Innovation
- Monitor key numbers like fundraising results, retention rates, and partner satisfaction.
- Use data and insights to make smarter decisions and improve strategies.
- Look for new and innovative ways to manage relationships and steward partners.
- Manage the department's budget and ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in fundraising, sales, account management, or stakeholder engagement.
- Proven experience managing multiple teams that handle both acquisition (getting new partners) and retention (keeping current ones).
- Experience managing strategic partnerships and driving organizational growth.
- Experience in the NGO, humanitarian, faith-based, or social impact sector is a big plus.
