TRAINING & QUALITY MANAGER
Luxury Island Resort • Seychelles • USD $3,300 gross per month + Quarterly Bonus
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Training & Quality Manager for a luxury island resort in the Seychelles. This role is central to the property's commitment to operational excellence and luxury service standards, overseeing all training, quality assurance, and colleague development initiatives across the resort. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Forbes Travel Guide and LQA standards and thrives in a remote island environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, implement, and manage training and development programmes across all resort departments
- Conduct operational audits, quality reviews, and inspections to ensure compliance with Forbes and LQA standards
- Identify training needs across departments and develop targeted programmes to address capability gaps
- Lead onboarding, induction, and ongoing development initiatives for new and existing team members
- Support the development and review of SOPs, operational manuals, and service standards
- Analyze guest feedback, quality metrics, and training outcomes to drive continuous improvement
- Partner with department heads to embed a strong service culture and maintain operational consistency
- Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and development documentation
WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning and Development, training, or quality assurance within luxury hospitality
- Hands-on experience with Forbes Travel Guide and LQA standards is a firm requirement
- Experience in luxury resorts, remote islands, or multicultural hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Strong ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes and quality initiatives
- Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as French, German, Italian, Russian, or Arabic are a strong advantage
- Comfortable adapting to remote island living and working conditions
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, HR, Training and Development, or a related field preferred
