Diesel Mechanic

We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated mechanic to maintain and repair a wide variety of trucks, heavy equipment, forklifts, loaders, and sawmill support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and drivetrains.

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on trucks, loaders, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

• Work safely while following all company safety procedures.

• Assist with fabrication and other mechanical projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.

• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus but not required.
