Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Machinist for projects located in or around Decatur, AL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $29/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Set up and operate manual machine shop equipment including engine lathes, mills, and drill presses
- Manufacture and fabricate parts to precise specifications
- Perform maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment
- Complete skilled precision and bench work
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant manual machining experience
- Must have experience operating lathes, mills, and drill presses in an industrial setting
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Trade school education or applicable machining training is preferred
