We are looking for a Logistics Operations Manager who shares our values of excellence, trust, and continuous improvement to lead and develop our logistics operations team. In this role, you will drive operational performance, foster a collaborative team culture, and align logistics execution with our broader strategic goals.
Your Mission
As the Logistics Operations Manager, you will lead all site logistics operations—from daily execution to long-term strategy. You'll guide a team of logistics professionals while ensuring quality, safety, cost, and delivery performance. What You’ll Do
Lead & Inspire
- Coach and develop a team of Logistics Supervisors and staff to deliver operational excellence.
- Champion a culture of ownership, safety, and accountability at all levels of the logistics function.
- Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and ongoing development to help team members grow.
Drive Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily logistics operations to meet targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Monitor and act on key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve service levels and reduce inefficiencies.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
Foster Collaboration & Alignment
- Serve as the logistics liaison across departments (production, engineering, quality, etc.) to ensure seamless material flow and shared success.
- Participate in operational reviews and strategic planning sessions to align logistics with broader business goals.
Champion Innovation & Improvement
- Lead initiatives to optimize inventory, warehouse layout, material flow, and resource utilization.
- Leverage data and ERP tools (preferably SAP) to support decision-making and visibility.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects using a structured, results-oriented approach.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and transportation logistics.
- ERP system experience (SAP preferred); data-driven and tech-comfortable.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Adaptable, organized, and effective under pressure.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service and quality.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks in warehouse/manufacturing settings.
- Exposure to dynamic environments requiring walking, standing, and climbing.
- Flexibility for evening/weekend work as needed based on operations.
