Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Operations in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and visible presence while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care for people, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vendor access, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures and/or management direction.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that may require a security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
