Senior Consultant - Claims Advocacy

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Advocacy team team at Marsh. This role will be based in Jakarta. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic claims advocacy, technical expertise, and exceptional service throughout the claims lifecycle. You will work closely with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, technical experts, and internal stakeholders to achieve the best possible claim outcomes while strengthening long-term client relationships.

We will count on you to:

• Manage and advocate insurance claims from notification through final settlement across multiple policy types
• Analyze policy coverage, identify claim issues, and develop effective claim strategies to drive optimal outcomes
• Prepare and review claim submissions, supporting documentation, and loss calculations to ensure robust presentation of claims
• Negotiate with insurers, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders to maximize claim recoveries and achieve timely resolution
• Coordinate with clients, technical experts, lawyers, and internal teams throughout the claims process to align actions and expectations
• Deliver excellent client service through proactive communication, timely updates, and responsive claims management

What you need to have:

• Proven experience managing and advocating complex insurance claims end-to-end
• Strong understanding of insurance policy coverage interpretation, claims processes, and documentation requirements
• Demonstrated negotiation skills with insurers, loss adjusters, and other claim stakeholders
• Strong client management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple parties
