What you will do:
Support the production staff on the shopfloor by providing scientific expertise
Support the GMP compliant qualification and validation activities of automated visual inspection system from an Operations perspective
Prepare readiness for operative takeover of the automated, semi-automated, manual visual inspection and container closure integrity testing
Accountable for safety, compliance and regulatory aspects. Preparation of risk analysis and all relevant procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and achieve business goals.
Technical improvement execution: Execute improvements, Drive process related trouble shooting
Leading/participate in change controls and deviations: using scientific and statistical knowledge to analyze data to provide process understanding, and to identify root causes of product and process failures.
Represent the VI and CCIT during regulatory inspections and audits.
What we are looking for:
Proven hands-on experience in pharmaceutical visual inspection for drug product in vials or syringes, in EITHER manual visual inspection, semi-automated, and/or fully automated visual inspection machines (AVI); experience across multiple inspection technologies is highly preferred.
Knowledge of qualification of visual inspection machines, product validation and ideally with Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, building processes, standards, and solutions from the ground up with limited guidance and a strong continuous improvement mindset.
Fluent in EITHER English OR German is required (fluency in both languages is an advantage)
A relevant scientific or engineering degree is preferred, although equivalent technical training combined with substantial industry experience will also be considered.
