Occupational Therapist (OT) – Home Health | Jersey City, NJ | PRN & Part-Time | $65–$85 Per Visit
Stern at Home Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes throughout the Jersey City, NJ area.
Choose between part-time W-2 employment with benefits or a flexible PRN opportunity based on your availability.
Whether you're looking to build a consistent weekly caseload or pick up visits around your current schedule, this opportunity lets you deliver individualized patient care without the double-booking, productivity quotas, and clinic burnout that are common in traditional outpatient settings.
What You'll Do:
As an Occupational Therapist with Stern at Home Therapy, you will evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric patient population in their homes throughout the Jersey City area.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide one-on-one treatments based on each patient's functional needs and goals.
- Manage individualized treatment plans with clinical autonomy.
- Help patients improve independence, safety, mobility, upper extremity function, and their ability to perform activities of daily living.
- Complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and members of the clinical team.
- Coordinate with our administrative team regarding scheduling, patient care, and logistics.
- Build and manage your caseload based on your availability and preferred coverage area.
Compensation:
Part-Time W-2:
- $65 per follow-up visit.
- $75 per 4-unit evaluation.
PRN:
- $72 per 4-unit follow-up visit.
- $85 per evaluation.

Qualifications:
- An active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in New Jersey is required.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.
- Home health experience is preferred but not required.
