Project Manager – Identity Transformation (IDM | PAM | IGA)

6 Month Contract | Melbourne | Hybrid Working

Our client is a global technology consulting organisation delivering a large-scale Identity Transformation program for a major enterprise customer in Melbourne. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in Identity and Access Management delivery to lead a critical workstream across Identity Management (IDM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile cyber and identity program, working alongside architects, security specialists, implementation consultants, and senior client stakeholders to modernise and transform enterprise identity capabilities.

The Role

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of identity transformation initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder engagement.

You will operate at the intersection of the consulting delivery team and the client organisation, driving collaboration across business, technology, security, and external vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of enterprise Identity Transformation initiatives across IDM, PAM and IGA domains.
• Manage project plans, governance, RAID management, reporting and financials.
• Coordinate consulting teams, technology partners and customer stakeholders.
• Drive delivery across multiple technical and business workstreams.
• Facilitate steering committees, executive reporting and governance forums.
• Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners to ensure successful outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, issues and dependencies.
• Support change management and business readiness activities associated with identity transformation initiatives.

Required Experience

• Proven experience delivering complex Identity Transformation programs within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Identity Management (IDM)
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
• Experience delivering projects within a consulting, systems integrator or professional services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups across customer and delivery teams.
• Experience leading technology transformation programs using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.
