For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 7+ years of experience as a Firewall / Senior Network Security Engineer
- Proven ability to write and maintain complex firewall security rules and policies across traditional firewall environments, ensuring alignment with organizational security standards.
- Strong expertise in Palo Alto, Fortinet
- Skilled in conducting diagnostics to identify root causes of network malfunctions and traffic flow blockages, with a structured approach to problem resolution.
- Ability to define, implement, and continuously improve security policy best practices across network security infrastructure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide expert guidance, training, and cross-domain collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English plus French or Portuguese (B2)
- Availability for Hybrid work model 2 x week in Lisboa
- Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
