Description
**Our mission** is to create a new platform that:
- **facilitates joint activities in real life** in particular doing sports, having meals together, visiting concerts and much more.
- **consciously reduces and limits on-screen time** while providing a similar level of information.
- actively **suppresses the spread of fake news** and polarizing content.
**Why?** Today's social networks are often linked to negative effects on mental health, addiction, and increasing loneliness. They are designed to maximize screen time through endless scrolling rather than to promote genuine interaction.
**Status:** A concept for the new service and its business case has been developed and a prototype with the functions Chat, Calendar and an initial version of Activities has been programmed in a manner that scales to 100M+ users.
**I** have studied computer science and will provide us with a strong technical expertise. For me this is not only a project - it's a mission I am fully committed to. Challenges get me motivated, just like in sports. Most importantly, the daily pursuit of this vision is fun and brings me great satisfaction.

## Tasks
As Co-Founder, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the company and thus a key driver for growth and success. Your tasks include:
- **Business Plan:** You sharpen initial ideas and develop a solid business plan.
- **Fundraising & Finance:** You run fundraising rounds and handle investor relations.
- **Institutional Relations:** You contribute to the relationship with German and European institutions for obtaining financial and political support.
- **Business Development & Partnerships:** You establish strategic partnerships (restaurants, event organizers, venues, etc.).
- **Marketing & Growth:** You are responsible for user acquisition, community building, and brand positioning.
- **Operations & Strategy:** You shape the legal framework and financial planning. You are a main contributor to the corporate strategy.
## Requirements
You have an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong hands-on mentality, and the vision to scale the company from the ground up.
- You are an excellent communicator and networker who gets people excited about our vision.
- You have a track record in several of the areas: business development, marketing, strategy, fundraising (ideally from within a startup or from the tech industry).
- You are personally inspired by Flamingo's mission to create a healthier social media alternative.
- Languages: You have an excellent command of German (C1) and English (C1).
