This role plays a pivotal part in our mission to deliver superior dental restorative solutions to our clients. As a C&B Ceramist, you will be joining a team of expert professionals known nationwide in a full-time capacity, dedicated to crafting high-quality dental prosthetics. Please be aware that this is not a remote position and will require on-site presence at our state-of-the-art facility. We are looking for someone with a meticulous eye for detail and a profound understanding of dental aesthetics and functionality. As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to enhancing our patients' quality of life by restoring not just smiles but also their confidence and well-being. This position requires a blend of technical skill and artistic touch, aiming to create flawless prosthetic pieces that perfectly match each patient's unique needs. Our lab is one that values quality first producing higher-end restorations and looks for like-minded client partners. We have an amazing team of great people! Duties and Responsibilities Design and fabricate dental prosthetic appliances specific to crown and bridge work. Ensure all creations meet the functional and aesthetic demands of the patient and conform to the dentist’s prescriptions. Utilize advanced layering techniques to mimic natural dentition effectively. Employ precise color matching techniques to ensure prosthetics seamlessly integrate with natural teeth. Apply knowledge of various dental materials including zirconia and porcelain to maximize the outcome. Maintain clear and open communication with the dentists to comprehend the peculiarities of each case and its requirements. Manage caseload from impression phase to final insertion and adjustment of prosthetics. Persistently follow the laboratory's standards for safety and cleanliness. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications. Ensure all laboratory equipment is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines and maintained regularly. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Technician with a focus on crowns and bridges. Anatomical Mastery: A deep understanding of tooth morphology ensures restorations match natural features, such as translucent incisal edges and micro-texture. Shade and Color Science: The ability to map light reflection and fluorescence—and execute custom shade matching creates invisible, lifelike prosthetics. Digital & Traditional Fluidity: Seamlessly navigating between traditional layering and modern CAD/CAM software (like Exocad) ensures precise milling and pressing. Material Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with high-end dental ceramics—such as zirconia, and porcelain maximizes both aesthetic beauty and structural strength. Exceptional attention to detail and precision in creating and adjusting dental pieces. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in dental technology advancements. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize meeting deadlines and client expectations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and techniques.
