Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide specialized surgical and non-surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with musculoskeletal disorders, congenital deformities, trauma, and orthopedic conditions while delivering evidence-based and patient-centered care.The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary pediatric teams to ensure optimal functional outcomes and high standards of pediatric orthopedic care.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage pediatric orthopedic conditions including congenital deformities, scoliosis, hip disorders, limb abnormalities, fractures, sports injuries, and neuromuscular conditions.Perform pediatric orthopedic surgical procedures including trauma surgery, deformity correction, spinal procedures, and reconstructive surgeries.Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for pediatric orthopedic patients.Evaluate and manage pediatric musculoskeletal trauma and emergency orthopedic cases.Collaborate with pediatricians, rehabilitation specialists, neurologists, radiologists, physiotherapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans to optimize patient recovery and mobility.Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, postoperative care, and rehabilitation.Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and hospital policies.Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuing medical education programs.Ensure adherence to patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards.Qualifications & RequirementsMBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.Board Certification / Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery with subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopaedics.Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Orthopaedic Surgery.Minimum 5–7 years of post-board consultant experience in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery within a tertiary care or academic hospital.Strong expertise in pediatric orthopedic trauma, deformity correction, and reconstructive procedures.Excellent surgical, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.Preferred SkillsExperience in pediatric spine surgery and complex deformity correction.Exposure to multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation programs.Research publications and academic experience are an advantage.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment.BenefitsCompetitive tax-free salaryFamily benefitsHealth insuranceAnnual airfare allowancePaid annual leaveCME and professional development support
