Wireless Technician II

Responsibilities

OBXtek is currently seeking a Wireless Technician - II to install, operate, and maintain radio equipment (HF to EHF) supporting the MuTC wireless environment

 

Responsibilities:

• Performs signal planning and RF analysis to determine location and transmission power requirements
• Troubleshoots RF issues

Qualifications

Education

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years installing, operating, and maintaining various radio equipment from HF to EHF
• Signal planning and RF analysis to determine proper location and radio transmission power requirements
• Troubleshooting RF issues

Security Clearance

• Secret (active and current)
