Description
Nau mai, haere mai ki a Fulton Hogan | Join us at Fulton Hogan
We’re looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our Auckland team. You’ll partner with crews and leaders on the ground, support practical safety systems and reporting, and help turn good intent into safer work every day.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build their H&S career while staying close to the action. You’ll spend time alongside our teams across Auckland, visiting active construction sites, road maintenance crews, and infrastructure works. That could mean being out where roading, drainage, water, or general civil works are happening, supporting teams as they deliver work safely on the ground.
You’ll be spotting risks early, taking part in pre-starts/tailgates, supporting site inspections and audits, helping with subcontractor checks, assisting with incident investigations, and working with teams to make sure our standards are applied in a practical way.
It’s a great opportunity for someone starting out in health and safety. If you’ve had some exposure to safety in construction, civil, or another operational environment and you’re ready to grow from there, we’ll back you with real responsibility, honest support, and room to develop.

We build, maintain, and operate the infrastructure people use every day, from roads and water networks to civil construction and essential community assets. We’re a business built on strong relationships, practical thinking, and people who are happy to roll up their sleeves. Our teams are flat, friendly, and forward moving. Titles matter less than ideas, and when the stakes are high, we switch on and deliver.
Around here, Good Work means high standards, low ego, and people who back each other. We take the work seriously, not ourselves.
