Compensation: $130,000–$185,000 base salary, plus potential bonus and auto allowance
Position Overview
Cruitin Inc. is partnering with a premier multifamily design-build firm to identify an experienced Project Superintendent I/II. This role will oversee multiple phases and trade activities on a large-scale construction project, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Project outlines are 250+ units, mixed-use podium with 3 levels subterranean foundation (parking) and 2 above ground with active shops and living.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate assigned phases of construction from planning through completion
- Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents for constructability and accuracy
- Provide field input during design and preconstruction
- Develop and maintain short-term construction schedules and look-ahead plans
- Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, inspections, materials, and equipment
- Monitor project progress and take corrective action to maintain schedule and budget
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, building codes, permits, and municipal regulations
- Oversee QA/QC programs, punch lists, inspections, and project closeout
- Maintain accurate daily reports, safety records, schedules, and field documentation
- Support and mentor assistant superintendents and junior field staff
- Build productive relationships with subcontractors, project teams, inspectors, owners, and surrounding neighbors
- Assist the Lead Superintendent with overall field operations as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction experience in the multi-family podium projects with structural concrete and wood framing.
- Experience supervising construction teams and complex projects
- Multifamily, mixed-use, podium, concrete, or large-scale residential construction experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of the design-build process
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Experience managing schedules, subcontractors, inspections, safety, QA/QC, and closeout
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling platforms, and similar construction software preferred
