In this role, you will play a key part in supporting policyholders during critical situations by coordinating Emergency Mitigation Services (EMS) activities from start to finish. Working under general supervision, you will manage and investigate assigned EMS activities, ensuring timely service delivery and effective resolution. The position oversees assigned EMS claims and activities, manages calls, desktop workflows, and inventory levels, and ensures timely and effective service delivery. The role handles both program and select non-program vendor assignments, exercising payment authority up to $40,000, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and service standards. Success in this position requires balancing operational efficiency with exceptional customer service, serving as a key point of contact for policyholders, vendors, and field partners throughout the mitigation process.
Compensation is determined based on geographic location and relevant experience.
Responsibilities:- Responds to inbound calls from water mitigation vendors and makes outbound calls as appropriate.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on invoices for claims involving program or non-program vendors
- Manages assignments with program and some non-program vendors throughout the water damage mitigation process.
- Reviews EMS invoices for accuracy in accordance with vendor estimating guidelines, service level agreements, and/or IICRC guidelines and negotiates as warranted.
- Conducts reviews to ensure appropriate documentation is secured from vendors. This includes dry logs, photos, and other related EMS documents.
- On occasion, writes comparative estimates for claims involving non-program vendors.
- Issues payments to vendors and/or policyholders up to $40,000.
- May assist Inside or Field CRS with policyholder contact and vendor communications when necessary.
Qualifications
- Good written and oral communications skills required
- Good interpersonal, organizational, investigative and negotiation skills required
- Customer service experience preferred
- 24 months of property adjusting or water damage restoration experience and demonstrated understanding of building construction and water damage restoration principles required
- Capable of writing structural damage estimates or water damage mitigation estimates
- Bachelor's Degree plus minimum of 24 months of property adjusting and/or water damage restoration experience preferred
- Licensing as required
