Research Fellow

As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Dr. Anna Albuquerque will lead translational research efforts focused on understanding mechanisms of response and resistance to immunotherapy and targeted therapies in lung cancer.

Her work will center on integrative analyses of whole-exome sequencing, transcriptomics, and other high-throughput omics data to identify genomic and molecular correlates of clinical outcomes. By connecting patient-derived molecular profiles with therapeutic responses, she aims to uncover predictive biomarkers and resistance pathways that can inform the next generation of precision oncology strategies.

Dr. Anna Albuquerque will operate at the interface of clinical and laboratory science, engaging in close collaboration with oncologists, computational biologists, and statisticians to ensure rigorous study design and impactful translational insights. She will also work alongside bench scientists to facilitate bidirectional discovery, translating clinical questions into experimental models and vice versa.

Through mentorship from senior investigators and access to extensive patient cohorts, Dr. Anna Albuquerque will gain valuable experience in integrating molecular data with clinical endpoints. She will be encouraged to pursue independent lines of investigation, contributing to the broader goals of the group while establishing her own research niche.

Pay Transparency Statement

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.

For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
