Job Description

As a Security Officer Personnel Screening in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government courthouse location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with court personnel and the public, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to court visitors, staff, judicial personnel, and/or law enforcement personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen visitors, packages, and personal property using designated screening equipment and procedures; communicate prohibited-item concerns in accordance with established protocols.
• Control access to designated court areas by verifying authorization, directing visitors, and maintaining orderly entry screening operations.
• Respond to incidents, disruptive behavior, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned court areas and the surrounding perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
