Description
Health and Safety Specialist
Location: Site-based, Greater Toronto Area
Compensation: $70,000 to $80,000, plus benefits
About the Company
Our client is an established GTA General Contractor and Construction Manager with roughly 30 years in business. They deliver commercial, industrial, and institutional work through three divisions: Service, Special Projects, and Major Capital Projects ($50M to $100M+). They are COR certified and have a strong backlog of active and upcoming work.
About the Role
The company is adding a Health and Safety Specialist to its safety team. The role is primarily dedicated to one of their major capital projects, with the possibility of supporting other sites as needed, including a community centre project with three years remaining. You will report to the company’s Safety Manager and work alongside a peer Health and Safety Specialist. On site, you will work closely with the Superintendent and site team, and you will be expected to help where needed beyond core safety duties.
This is a good fit for someone early to mid-career who is self-driven, wants to learn, and takes safety seriously.
