Job Description

As a Security Officer Healthcare Location in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital grounds, entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or responding personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be willing to receive vaccines required for a hospital setting.
• Be comfortable working in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
