Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control HOA in Westlake Village, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol a residential community, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, document observations, and provide professional customer service to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
