Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed - Site Monitor in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, manage access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support adherence to site entry and credentialing requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• At least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
