Job Description:

The purpose of the position is to support and enhance the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM, by translating business needs into effective technical solutions, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining smooth system operations.

 

This role is responsible for participating in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM systems, as well as related IT finance applications.  Should assist in collaboration with business stakeholders to understand, document and analyze business processes and requirements.

 

The position involves coordinating system testing, addressing technical issues, and bridging the gap between technical teams and business users. Strong SQL skills, a foundational understanding of accounting principles, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Main Responsabilities

System Implementation & Configuration

• Participate in the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM.
• Coordinate system setup, configuration, and user/system testing.

 

Data Management

• Act as a bridge SQL database administrators and business users.
• Execute SQL queries for data extraction, validation and troubleshooting.

 

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Gather business and functional requirements from finance and operational teams.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure mutual understanding between technical and non-technical teams.

 

Application Support & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and maintain IT finance applications.
• Work with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensure solutions and viable
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide user support when required.
• Crate and maintain clear documentation, including user manuals, process flowcharts, functional specifications.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Additional studies or certifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration are an advantage.
• Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM, SQL) preferred.
• Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages.

• Advanced experience working with SQL.

• Background in collaborating with finance and operational teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (Financials) and EPM, or Oracle Cloud Services is an advantage.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Programming and coding skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and finance processes.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude, willingness to learn new concepts, and readiness to take on challenges.
