Application Modernization - Mobile Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Mobile Developer to design and ship production-ready iOS and Android applications using React Native and TypeScript. You will own the full mobile development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through app store releases, while collaborating closely with web teams on shared design systems and APIs.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Build and ship native iOS and Android mobile applications end-to-end using React Native and TypeScript
• Own the complete app store release process, including app store publishing and release management
• Implement core mobile features including push notifications, offline data handling, and accessibility compliance
• Ensure COPPA compliance and child-safe data handling in mobile applications
• Share front-office APIs and design system components with web UI teams to maintain consistency across platforms
• Architect and develop robust mobile solutions that integrate with backend services and third-party APIs
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into high-quality, performant mobile experiences

Requirements

• 8–10 years of professional mobile development experience
• Expert proficiency in React Native and TypeScript for cross-platform development
• Strong experience developing native iOS and Android applications
• Demonstrated expertise in app store publishing, release management, and submission processes
• Hands-on experience implementing push notifications and offline-first data synchronization
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment with strong communication skills
