Description
To be a family that uses our collective superpowers to do significant good.
Lead the team that gets it out the door
Every order is a promise to a customer. As our Outbound Warehouse Manager, you’ll lead the people who keep it in a fast-moving operation where volumes shift by the hour and carrier cutoffs don’t move. You’ll read the floor, make the call, and put the right people in the right place.
On 2nd shift, the day’s volume lands in your hands. You’ll set the pace, solve problems as they surface, and close out the shift knowing every shipment, every associate, and every dock door was handled the right way.
We’re looking for a leader who earns trust on the floor: someone who coaches in the moment, adapts when the plan changes, and brings out the best in people. If you’re a shift manager, outbound supervisor, or fulfillment leader ready to own the whole operation, this is your next step.
Pay range: $70,000 to $80,000
What you will do?
- Run the floor: Direct daily picking, packing, staging, and shipping. Balance volumes, schedules, equipment, and staffing to meet customer and carrier deadlines
- Stay ahead of the clock: Monitor order queues, dock activity, and carrier cutoffs so bottlenecks never become late shipments
- Build your people: Hire, train, coach, and cross-train associates so the team can flex with changing volumes. Give timely feedback and address performance concerns directly
- Shape the culture: Make onboarding, recognition, and accountability part of how the team works every day
- Fix what breaks: Resolve shipping errors, discrepancies, and damages quickly, and work with Inventory, Receiving, Customer Service, and Sales to keep product moving
- Keep improving: Use performance data (productivity, accuracy, on-time shipment, damages, labor, safety) to find root causes and raise the standard. Maintain the procedures and training materials that make it stick
- Own safety and standards: Keep the facility clean, safe, and compliant, and oversee end-of-shift closing
- Step up when it counts: Support peak periods and special projects
What you bring to the table!
- Experience leading outbound, warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment teams
- Quick, sound judgment when priorities compete and plans change
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and comfort turning data into decisions
- Working knowledge of fulfillment, shipping, inventory controls, carrier requirements, and warehouse safety
- WMS, order management, or shipping system experience preferred
- Availibility to work second shift
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred
