Übersicht

The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for management and direct inventory control, sourcing and contracting all goods and services purchased by the company. In addition, is responsible to ensure the vast requirement and standards of the company are fulfilled. Will work in close association with domestic and international suppliers and customers, production, engineering and finance departments to ensure business success. We are looking for support for our purchasing team with operational and administrative tasks. The focus will be on standardized day-to-day activities.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Supporting the preparation and administrative processing of new suppliers, in particular:
• • Completing and processing the required forms
  • Creating new supplier records in Business Central
  • Sending and following up on non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
  • Forwarding technical queries to the relevant colleagues
  • Managing and filing signed NDAs
• Creating purchase orders based on data provided in Excel spreadsheets
• Communicating with suppliers and internal departments in both German and English
• Reviewing and filing order confirmations
• Following up on missing order confirmations and outstanding delivery dates
• Providing general administrative and operational support to the purchasing team

Qualifikationen

• Ideally, experience in operational purchasing or a comparable commercial role
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage but not essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• A structured, thorough, and independent working approach
• Good communication and organizational skills
