Position Summary

Safely deliver and install GE appliances for residential customers while protecting the home, following manufacturer instructions, and completing accurate job documentation. The Lead directs the installation and customer interaction; the Helper supports safe handling, setup, and quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Execution

• Lead: Review work orders, confirm site readiness, and direct the installation sequence
• Lead: Perform appliance installation and testing within training, manufacturer instructions, and applicable requirements
• Helper: Assist with unloading, positioning, unpacking, and securing appliances under Lead direction
• Both: Protect floors, walls, cabinets, and other customer property

Quality & Customer Experience

• Verify model, condition, accessories, and installation scope at each stop
• Document pre-existing conditions, exceptions, and completed work
• Demonstrate basic operation and explain completed work to the customer as appropriate
• Prevent avoidable callbacks, damage, and incomplete installations

Productivity & Communication

• Lead: Assign tasks and manage pace to meet scheduled appointments
• Lead: Escalate unsafe conditions, missing parts, and work outside approved scope
• Helper: Prepare tools and materials and maintain an orderly work area
• Both: Submit accurate proof of delivery, photos, and completion records

Safety & Compliance

• Use proper lifting, moving, and appliance-handling procedures
• Do not perform gas, electrical, or plumbing work requiring credentials unless properly qualified and authorized
• Inspect equipment and report unsafe conditions
• Follow company, customer, and manufacturer safety requirements

• First-time installation completion
• Installation quality and callback rate
• Customer satisfaction
• Product / property damage claims
• On-time appointments and route productivity
• Safety and documentation compliance

Qualifications

• Lead: Prior appliance installation experience and ability to direct a two-person crew preferred
• Helper: Delivery, moving, or installation experience preferred; training provided as applicable
• Ability to safely move heavy appliances with appropriate equipment and assistance
• Customer-focused communication and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for employees assigned to drive
