WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE:
As our Commercial HVAC Maintenance Sales Representative, you'll develop new business and build lasting relationships with commercial customers throughout the St. Louis market. You'll identify prospects, follow up on leads and referrals, learn about each customer's HVAC needs, and present maintenance, repair, modification, and replacement solutions that deliver long-term value.
You'll conduct customer presentations, survey mechanical systems, prepare clear and competitive proposals, and manage an active pipeline from initial contact through the close of the sale. You'll also maintain accurate sales documentation and collaborate with technicians, office staff, management, vendors, and operations to ensure customers receive responsive and reliable service.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Regular travel is not required. Sales award trips may be available to qualifying team members.
WHAT'S NEEDED?
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of outside sales experience
- Professional experience in the HVAC industry
- Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and close sales
- Strong communication and active-listening skills
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to prepare proposals, manage an active pipeline, and follow up consistently
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend practical HVAC solutions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- Experience selling commercial HVAC maintenance agreements
- Experience selling HVAC service, repair, modification, or replacement solutions
- Experience conducting customer presentations and mechanical system surveys
- Experience managing quotes and proposals throughout the sales process
