Location: On-site in Fort Payne, AL
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst to provide technical support for a distribution center in Fort Payne, Alabama. This role is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining computer hardware, warehouse management systems, network connectivity, and other technology used throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support, desktop troubleshooting, networking, and warehouse systems. This position works closely with Operations, Facilities Maintenance, and corporate IT teams to resolve technical issues, maintain system functionality, and minimize disruptions to daily operations.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
- Regular Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Regular Hours: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
- Training Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, IP phones, RF scanners, PC emulators, servers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, operating system, and general technical issues reported by distribution center employees.
- Support and troubleshoot the facility's warehouse management system (WMS).
- Verify warehouse management system processes and investigate system-related issues.
- Use query and file access tools within the AS400 environment to support system configuration and data integrity.
- Work with Facilities Maintenance to troubleshoot material handling equipment (MHE) interfaces.
- Assist project leads with system configuration and database changes as needed.
- Escalate complex Level 3 technical issues to corporate IT support when additional assistance is required.
- Collaborate with Operations and Facilities Maintenance to minimize system downtime and maintain efficient distribution center operations.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to identify issues, provide updates, and resolve technical support requests.
- Provide remote technical support during emergencies using a company-provided laptop and cell phone.
- Participate in an on-call rotation or respond to emergency issues as required by the position.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree or technical college education preferred.
- CCNP certification or 1–3 years of general networking experience required.
- At least 3 years of experience in desktop support or warehouse systems support.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, or other email systems.
- Experience supporting VoIP telecommunications systems.
- Understanding of general networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong SQL skills for query development and reporting.
- Familiarity with AS400 systems and warehouse management systems preferred.
- Knowledge of Manhattan Associates PKMS/WM is a plus.
