GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Europe Margin Expansion and Analytics Leader join our Europe Services Operations team based remotely in Europe.

The Europe Margin Expansion and Analytics Leader will accelerate profitability and operational excellence across our Services business.

This role sits at the intersection of business performance, cost transformation, advanced analytics, and AI innovation. You will lead strategic initiatives that drive sustainable margin expansion through disciplined cost management, and data-driven decision making.

As a key member of the Europe Services Operations team, you will partner with OTR, OFS, Finance, and PRMs regional teams to identify opportunities, reduce margin leakage, improve operational performance, and build a culture of analytical excellence.

The position reports directly into the Europe OTR Operations Leader.

Your Impact

Margin Expansion Leadership

• Own and drive the Europe Services margin expansion strategy by identifying and executing initiatives that improve profitability, productivity, and overall cost management discipline.
• Lead cross-functional actions to reduce margin erosion and strengthen performance across Outage Costs, Capital Parts, Non-Capital Parts (NCP), and Other Covered Maintenance Costs.
• Develop actionable recovery plans for identified risks and partner with business leaders to ensure timely execution.
• Establish robust operating rhythms and standard work that create accountability and sustainable outcomes.

Cost Excellence & Financial Performance

• Serve as the regional focal point for cost governance.
• Drive cost visibility, and performance transparency across the organization.
• Partner with Finance, PRMs, OTR, OFS, and regional leaders to improve cost productivity and operating discipline.
• Lead deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes, quantify business impact, and drive measurable corrective actions.
• Champion best practices, and continuous improvement that strengthen efficiency and profitability.

Advanced Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Define and lead the Europe Services Operations analytics strategy, ensuring KPIs are consistently measured, and reported.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visual management tools that provide leaders with timely, actionable intelligence.
• Transform complex operational and financial data into clear recommendations and compelling narratives for senior leadership.
• Identify trends, anomalies, risks, opportunities, and predictive indicators that support proactive decision making.
• Develop scalable analytical frameworks that improve visibility, forecasting, and operational planning.
• Lead the adoption of Artificial Intelligence within Europe Services operations.
• Identify opportunities where Generative AI and intelligent agents can simplify work, increase productivity, and improve decision quality.
• Design and deploy AI-powered solutions that automate data collection, analysis, reporting, and insight generation.
• Partner with Digital and IT teams to integrate innovative technologies into everyday business processes.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

You should hold previous experience in Operations, Finance, Performance Management, Analytics, or Business Transformation within an industrial, services, or energy environment.

Margin mindset: Relentless focus on value creation, productivity, profitability, and measurable business outcomes.

Data and analytics excellence: Strong analytical curiosity and the ability to convert complex datasets into clear insights, actions, and decisions.

Effective AI usage: Demonstrated ability to use Generative AI, intelligent agents, machine learning, and automation responsibly and effectively to improve productivity, analysis quality, and decision making.

Executive influence: Ability to communicate complex topics simply and compellingly, building credibility through insight-driven recommendations.

Change leadership: Energized by transformation and able to inspire adoption of new tools, processes, and data-driven ways of working.

Execution and resilience: Comfortable operating with pace, accountability, and sound judgment in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.

Collaboration: Natural network builder who works effectively across Operations, Finance, Digital, Commercial, ITR, and regional teams.

Process discipline: Strong commitment to standard work, controllership, compliance, and continuous improvement.

A formal education is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements in the forementioned areas above.
