As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and assist tenants, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment through Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, and integrity-driven approach.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, lobbies, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily log entries while communicating relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
