We’re currently looking for a Regional Financial Controller on a full time, fixed-term contract until 31st May 2027.
This position sits within the Global Finance & Control team. The role is based in Singapore, but we would consider alternate locations that meet the needs of the existing team and time zone of stakeholders.
The Job
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, on a day-to-day basis, you’ll be responsible for the following:
- Leading and guiding the existing team of five committed accountants
- Managing the financial compliance for the APAC region
- Looking after the cashflow for the entities across the APAC region
- Managing the outsourced finance partners that deliver services across the APAC region
- Ensuring a strong and robust financial control framework remains in operation
- Supporting stakeholders across the APAC region in managing their financial budgets and forecasts
- Providing commercial support where necessary for the APAC relationship leadership team.
The Person
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a professionally qualified accountant with post qualification experience including audit work
- Fluent in English
- Experience of making management decisions independently
- Has experience in the preparation, auditing and filing of statutory returns
- Knowledge of an accounting and control framework and an understanding of regulatory and operational risk
- Is interested in financial control and business partnering and can demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Is happy to work autonomously and is self-motivated to progress the region's financial priorities.
